About the Role
As part of the treasury team, you will help ensure efficient management of the company’s global cash flows and liquidity. The role involves working with multiple currencies, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders across several regions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing daily cash positions across international accounts
- Supporting internal banking activities and multi-currency cash management
- Optimising liquidity by positioning cash balances effectively
- Assisting with short-term investments such as money market funds and deposits
- Preparing regular liquidity and cashflow reports
- Acting as a point of contact for operational treasury queries
You will also contribute to broader treasury initiatives, including:
- Supporting the development of cash and investment strategies
- Assisting with the consolidation and optimisation of global cash pools
- Helping maintain banking mandates and governance documentation
- Supporting treasury transactions such as FX activity when required
The organisation is currently introducing a new Treasury Management System (TMS). In this role, you will be involved in several stages of the implementation process, including:
- Supporting system configuration and structure setup
- Assisting with user acceptance testing and documentation
- Identifying improvements for reporting, automation, and data analytics after go-live
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to treasury improvement projects such as:
- Cash pooling initiatives across European entities
- Reviews of international banking structures
- Process improvements and automation within treasury operations
- Supporting broader treasury activities related to funding and financial risk management
Candidate Profile
This role would suit someone with experience in treasury, finance, or cashflow analysis who enjoys working with financial data and improving processes.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Experience in cash management, liquidity analysis, or financial forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, financial analysis)
- Experience working with financial systems or treasury platforms
- Knowledge of banking products such as deposits, FX, or money market funds
Additional advantages include:
- Experience with reporting or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Exposure to treasury system implementations or upgrades
- Progress toward a professional finance qualification (ACT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
